Your Love Story, Framed in Cape May

From the windswept dunes to the cobblestone charm of historic streets, Cape May offers the perfect stage for your engagement session. All sessions are intentionally scheduled around golden hour or blue hour to achieve that signature soft, coastal glow. Each session is pre-set for sunset to give you that dreamy, true-to-tone glow Cape May is known for. Your booking confirmation will reflect the original time selected, and we’ll tailor it to your preference afterward if you'd like a different time of day. If your desired location is 30 minutes outside of Cape May, New Jersey a travel fee will be applied for $3.00 a mile. 

Sunset Times per season: 

  • June: 7:45 PM – 8:30 PM
  • July: 7:30 PM – 8:15 PM
  • August: 7:00 PM – 7:45 PM
  • September: 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM
  • October: 5:00 PM - 6:00PM

The big November jump is because Daylight Saving Time ends November 1, 2026, so sunset suddenly appears about an hour earlier by the clock.

  • November: 4:45 PM -5:45 PM
  • December: 3:40 PM - 4:35 PM

(Exact timing may shift slightly based on the sunset that week to ensure the most flattering light.)

30 minute portrait session offering classic portraiture with fine art accents with Artist Liz Unruh or Team

  • Enjoy customary planning guide that include questionnaires, outfit guides and gallery inspiration.
  • Package includes High resolution digital images with print release. Full Printing rights to all photos and private viewing gallery.
  • Private studio meeting to choose images for prints, canvas + albums
  • Add-ons available for  DIY albums, prints and turn around times.
