Maternity + Newborn

From Bump to Baby’s First Waves

Studio, at home or Cape May as your backdrop—it’s where your family’s story begins. Imagine maternity portraits surrounded by the soft pastel skies of sunset, newborn snuggles captured in the gentle sea breeze, and your baby’s very first toes-in-the-sand moment preserved forever.

All sessions are intentionally scheduled around golden hour or blue hour to achieve that signature soft, coastal glow. Each session is pre-set for sunset to give you that dreamy, true-to-tone glow Cape May is known for. If you need a different time, I’m happy to adjust it manually—your booking confirmation will reflect the original time selected, and we’ll tailor it to your preference afterward. If your desired location is 30 minutes outside of Cape May, New Jersey a travel fee will be applied for $3.00 a mile.

Sunset per season:

  • June: 7:45 PM – 8:30 PM
  • July: 7:30 PM – 8:15 PM
  • August: 7:00 PM – 7:45 PM
  • September: 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM
  • October: 5:00 PM - 6:00PM

The big November jump is because Daylight Saving Time ends November 1, 2026, so sunset suddenly appears about an hour earlier by the clock.

  • November: 4:45 PM -5:45 PM
  • December: 3:40 PM - 4:35 PM

(Exact timing may shift slightly based on the sunset that week to ensure the most flattering light.)
